Hit F8, while Windows is booting.

When you boot you will see a BIOS screen that gives info about your
processor, memory and drives. This screen is on for a short time, then the
Windows screen comes up. You need to start tapping the F8 key as soon as the
BIOS screen goes off, BEFORE the Windows screen starts. This will put you in
Safe Mode.

Shutdown and restart your PC. When you see your PC BIOS

info on your screen press the F8 key. It should take you
to another screen that says "Please select the operating
system to start:" Press F8 again which will take you to
the safe Mode boot screen. Just use your arrow keys to
select Safe Mode at the top of the screen or any other
choice you need. Sometimes you have to hit F8 after
restart several times to get to Safe Mode.
