The information needed to begin a new account is almost impossible to
find....I can't locate the incoming or outgoing server to set up windows
mail. You'd think that information would come with your new Windows Vista
Home Premium when you purchase it on your computer, but it doesn't. Does
anyone know how to solve this mystery? I didn't think it should be so
difficult.....

It does not have anything to do with your computer purchase. The information
you need is provided by your ISP. You can find the info you need on your
ISPs website.

It's really very simple.
Email service is provided by your email service provider.
In most cases that will be your ISP, or a separate provider like Yahoo
or Hotmail. They have email setup instructions on their web page.

Do you have an existing email address? If so, tell us the part after
the @ symbol.

Windows Mail is just a tool. It doesn't know who your email provider
is. You have to tell it.
