How do you search for a file containing specific text within Word.

After switching over to Word 2007, I found that the file search capabilities
are no longer there within Word, at least to my knowledge. You used to be
able to go to File, Open, and there was an advanced search mechanism in that
dialog box (on the menu bar, I believe) that would enable you to search for a
file containing specific words. Does anyone know of a way to do this in Word
2007? It looks like we're limited to using the Windows search feature now.

You are correct. One imagines that the designers were thinking that most
Office 2007 users would be using Vista. When using Word 2007 in Vista, a
mini-version of Windows Explorer is used for the File dialogs. In Vista,
there is a Search box in the upper right in each of the File dialogs, making
searching far easier than ever before.

Unfortunately... if you don't have Vista, then you'll need to use Windows
Explorer itself. :-(

That's what I suspected. Thanks for the info!
