I never had any problems saving a graphics picture from an email before till
now. Can anyone please advise as to why we cannot save a graphics picture
from an email?

I don't know. I've always been able to save attachments by using right-click
on the attachment icon, and then "Save". What is different with your
messages?

The attachment is a graphics picture embedded into the email body. When you
right click and save, it does not save it as a graphics picture.

Ah. I used to have a utility that would extract base64 encoded data from
files. Probably need something along that line.

Select the graphic, copy to clipboard, paste into a graphics program (eg.
Paint), save from there

So we've gone from right-clicking on an image and saving it, to right
clicking on an image, copying it, opening a completely different application,
pasting the image to that application, and then saving it from there.

Interesting. Forgive my incredulousness, but I thought the concept was to
work "smarter" not "harder".

I hope no one was paid to think up that one.
