How do you remotely restart your computer using remote desktop? It allows me to remotely shut it down but not restart. Can anyone help me out???

If you're in a Remote Desktop session, can you Ctrl+Alt+End (or Start, Run,
Windows Security) and choose to Restart from the Shut Down option?

In addition to Matt's comment, you can also run "shutdown -r" from a
command prompt.

Like everybody else says.

If you can shut down, you should also be seeing restart as a choice.

The key, of course, is that it both shut down, but also come back up,
connect to the Internet, and have an IP address you know and can connect to.

This is possible, but takes some care to manage.
