I am trying to setup a workbook with spreadsheets that contain other
spreadsheets. Does excel allow this? if yes, how can I do it.

Hi

not 100% sure what you're after here ... a workbook can contain multiple
worksheets. Each worksheet contains a grid of cells 256 columns wide &
65536 rows deep. This basic structure of excel can not be altered.

Please post back with additional details on what you're trying to achieve
and we might be able to suggest a solution.

Yes, I understand that, but I'm trying to place a workbook inside another
workbook. I don't know whether excel allows that or not. The setup would
look like this: A workbook, titled workbook one, and inside that workbook 4
or 5 workbooks titled workbooks A thru D or E and inside those workbooks
spreadsheets. An Analogy would be like folders in the computer, one folder
contains many other folders, which contain other folders.
Hopefully, that clears up what i'm trying to do. any helps, comments or
suggestions are appreciated.

Hi

this is not possible in excel and i can't really think of any alternative
except that you can hyperlink to different workbooks from one workbook ...

cheers
