How do you make changes to someones calendar that you share?

My boss would like me to be able to make changes to his calendar that he
currently share's with me. How do we grant access to be able to make
changes to a shared calendar?

The owner of the calendar defines the type access they allow. Your boss will
need to grant you either "edit" or "author" priveleges for that share.
