How do you make a sequence of documents

When I paste a document, and then try to paste another document after that
one it erase the first document in word 2003
 
Are you just cutting & pasting... or are you using the "insert file" option.

Either way -- it shouldn't "erase" the first one. If you are copy/pasting
the second one... it would replace the original if it is selected when you
paste. Be sure to click the cursor into a new paragraph before you paste
subsequent documents.
 
You might find the boiler.dot add-in that you can download from my web site
a simple solution.
