Alternately, you can look for a font that contains that symbol (a font newsgroup would likely be able to give more specific information). It has been reported that the Math Ext font contains the Xbar symbol. If you have old MS CD's you might find it there http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;179595 Alternately http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/wpdos/wptoword.html claims to have it in a downloadable file.
