how do you format a CD-RW ?

I am trying to format CD-RW's so that I can back up the data stored on my
laptop. Can someone please help me? I would really appreciate it

development program. Please try an appropriate newsgroup for a more
definitive response.
If you have properly installed your CD R/W, then Right clicking the
associated drive letter in Windows Explorer should offer you a Format and
Eject option.
