How do you expand the contents of a folder

I realize this is really basic, but I've forgotten how to
expand all of the + signs (to see all of the
sub-directories) next to the directory names in Explorer
with one movement.

Hi, RRoll.

In Windows Explorer you can see all the folders and subfolders in the right
window by clicking the primary folder in the left window.

Click on the top folder in the left pane, then press the * key on the numeric keypad (won't work pressing the * at the top of the keyboard). Warning, this can cause Windows Explorer to hang if there are a lot of folders in the tree, usually best not to do it at the drive root.
