How do you enlarge the window text on windows xp?

The default setting for the window text is rather small
how do you enlarge this?
 
Right click the desktop, Click Properties then click the Appearance tab. You
can select font size near the bottom of the window.
 
I guess your referring to this text, just hold down the Ctrl key and rotate
the mouse wheel.

1) Right-click on the Desktop, and choose "Properties".
2) Click on "Settings" tab
3) Click on "Advanced" button at the bottom-right
4) Click on the "General" tab
5) Change default font display size using the section called "Display".
You might try the "Large size (120 DPI)" setting at first.
You can choose "Custom setting..." to choose a larger or smaller setting
