How do you disable a blinking text box in Word 2007?

A student sent her homework in with a blinking textbox. Now everytime I cut
and paste something into Word the words are outlined by a blinking textbox.
How do I disable this blinking text box in Word 2007?

Probably she sent you a Word 2003 document with blinking text.
Try this, select the textbox, home ribbon, click on the remove formatting
button in the font group.
As far as I know the blinking text effect has been removed from Word 2007.
