How do you clear search entries

In the yahoo search term box, for example, how do you
prevent internet explorer from remembering those previous
search inquiries?

Try going to >Tools >Internet Options >Advanced. Scroll
down to "Search from the address bar" and select "Do not
search from the address bar." I believe that this
eliminates the dropdown list of previous sites in the
address bar, and it might stop it from remembering
previous inquiries - not 100% sure. But if not work, then
try just arrowing down the list and pressing the "delete"
button.

its simple, Tools, internet options, Content,
AutoComplete then Clear Forms! No need to do anything
confusing!
