How do you clear an email address from the 'remembered' list

Hello all,

Once you send someone an email message, Outlook remembers the address and
pops it up in the auto complete lists when you start to enter To, CC, etc
items in future messages. How do you retrieve and edit that list?

In this case, I'm not talking about someone who matches a contact item, just
someone I sent an email to somewhere along the line (eg
(e-mail address removed)). After a while the list tends to get cluttered up
with inactive folks or someone gets married and the old name still shows up
also. Thanks in advance for any ideas and/or suggestions!

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my question. I know I can delete it out of the
current To list, etc but where do I find it so that I can permanently delete
it so that it never shows up in the list again?

Once you have deleted it from that list then AFAIK it's gone!
