How do you change the default insert file path in outlook 2003? Instead of
going to "My Documents" all the time I want to go to a netwotk share when I
need to attach a file to an email. How can this be changed?

The only way is to change the location My Documents uses.

Brian,

Where and how do you "change the location My Douments uses"?

I know that I am lete to this one but I had the same question for Outlook
2007. The solution is simple for me. I am using my Word 2007 as my editor
so I openerd Word and clicked on the Office button at the top left of the
screen, went to Word Options - Save and changed the "Default File Location".
The reults were reflected in Outlook when I click on the atch file icon.

Outlook tends to remember the last used location, so if you select a new
folder from within outlook, it will use it until you change it. For this
reason, I prefer to put the folders on the places bar (xp) or favorites list
(vista/win7) - my most used folders are always 1 click away.
