How do you change the default editor that you view gif attachments

I have inadvertantly set a trial edition of Paint Shop Pro as my default
photo viewer for attachments in my Outlook email. Now that the trial is up I
can't view any pictures. I have other software that can do the viewing but I
don't no how to change to another editor. Is there someone who can help me.

often when you install this type of software, it tells you that it will make
itself the default viewer for a list of specific file types.

to change this later, go to Control Panel and pick Folder Options. Go to the
File Types tab. this will list all of the file types that your machine could
recognise. You need to find an select the file type of interest (eg: .jpeg).
Click on the Change button at the bottom left of the window, and select the
application that you would like that file type to open in. If it is not in
the list, click on Other... and navigate to the file location of that
program's .exe file. Then Ok, Ok, Ok to save the changes.
