How do you change default printer setttings (always print duplex)?

Sandy

My specifications have about 50 sections each. For every section - I have to
go in and tell the printer to print on both sides of the paper (duplex). Is
there a way (without being a computer genius) to change the default to duplex
printing? I can always switch it back to one-sided printing when I am though
by reversing the process - right?

We use Word 2003, and my printer is a Ricoh Aficio 2500 PCL 5e.

Any tips?????

could you elaborate a bit? Word's sections are governing all sorts of
properties related to printing, but I don't think you can set "duplex"
directly anywhere in File | Page Setup.

[You can choose a certain printer tray, sure. But no matter what setting
in there, you can always apply it to ALL SECTIONS and not having to
bother doing anything for each section that should be global.]

Can you try this?

1. Go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes
2. Right-click on Ricoh Afficio MP C2500 PCL 5 and select Properties
3. Click on Printing Preferences...
4. Click Setup tab and Select "Duple" (Open to Left" or "Open to Top"
5. Click apply > Ok twice

Not only Word, but also you print everything Duplex as default.

Please let me know how it goes...
