How do you change a drop-down list in Excel?

I have an excel spreadsheet with drop lists for pick and choose what criteria
I want entered in this column. I need to CHANGE the list (criteria) - how do
I do that?
 
Data/Validation

Use/modify the list reference in "Select From List"

I need to clarify -

If you go to DATA/VALIDATION - there is nothing to modify. These are linked
sheets- the sheet I need to modify is sheet 3 - which links to sheet 7. How
do I change that table?
