How do we send mail immediately?

We would like our email messages to be sent immediately without having to
press the SEND/RECEIVE toolbar button. Isn't there a setting in Outlook
2007 that will allow messages to be sent immediately by default? All our
messages are going into the OUTBOX and waiting for the designated
send/receive time period to expire. The delay is fine for checking incoming
mail, but we would like our emails to be sent immediately upon pressing the
SEND button.

By default this is on;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> Send immidiately when connected

Thanks, Roady. Initially, I mis-interpreted the option as sending mail
immediately AFTER connecting and not WHILE connected. The word WHEN, as
used in the dialog, left the meaning slightly open to either interpretation.
Thanks!
