HOW DO U ADD AND SUBTRACT AND KEEP A RUNNING TOTAL

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO ADD AND SUBTRACT NUMBERS AND ADD THEM TO A
SPREAD SHEET WHERE I HAVE A LIST OF NAMES AND THEN KEEP A RUNNING TOTAL
 
Spreadsheets are not an Access function. Do you have a question relating to
Access, a relational database product by Microsoft?

Are you doing this in the database software Microsoft Access (the
subject of this newsgroup), or in Excel? If Excel, please scroll down
the list of newsgroups and choose an appropriate Excel group. When you
do, please post enough details that someone might be able to help; and
lay off the CAPS LOCK key, it's hard to read.
