Hi,

How do I get IE6 (sp1) to autodial my ISP when I click on
the desktop icon (like Netscape does)? And, how do I get
it to prompt to disconnect when I exit IE, like Netscape
does?

hanks.
Chris

With IE open click tools\internet options connections tab
and then add your connection here and configure away to
your hearts content. Don't be afraid to click the various
buttons and tabs as that's the only way you learn. Any
more questions post back or e:mail me. Keep smiling.

At Internet options - Connections, highlight the connection used as
default, and select 'dial if no connection present', Then click
Settings, click Advanced, and check 'Disconnect when connection may no
longer be needed'

(BTW - 'Disconnect if idle' there refers to you not doing anything at
the keyboard. If you set a big download going and go away, the machine
will be seen as being idle and the download may be cut off in the
middle)
