I want to view my presentation, but not full screen. I need to be able to
work in another application while viewing the slide show.

Hold the control key and click on the slideshow icon
you get a 1/4 size view in the upper left corner of the screen
pretty cool tip i picked up here

Now, can anybody tell me if this image can be resized or repositioned?

HTH and TIA

Thanks Pete. That's exactly what I needed.

If you hold Alt and click the slideshow Icon, it opens in the same window
and is resizable and moveable. I just figured that out.

Another way is to "slide show menu " > "set up show" > tick "browsed by an
individual (window)"

then you can re-size the window
