i am using an excel worksheet. i am trying to use the print screen button on
the actual computer keyboard. I have used help and it says to use alt+print
screen then hit the print screen button again. This is not working obviously
or i wouldnt be asking how to do it. What am i doing wrong? Is there
somewhere in my computer i need to go to enable this function? Is there a
keyboard manager that i need to assign this button to? How do i make it
function? Please help me im taking the excel test and i need to print these
worksheets off by using the print screen button. Anyone? thank you my email

When you hit alt-prtscr, it actually copies the picture into your windows
clipboard.

I usually open MSWord and then Edit|paste

then print from MSWord.

Ahh, the good old days of DOS when Print Screen would do so directly.

ALT + PrintScreen will capture the Active Window.

PrintScreen will capture the entire screen.

Then as Dave points out, paste from the Clipboard to wherever you think best
for printing.

If you want to capture just areas of the worksheet, you can select a range
then SHIFT + Edit "copy picture" which would then be pasted as above.
