How do I use cleanrules switch in Outlook 2000 - NOT 2003?

I have been trying to delete the server-side and client rules I set up and
whenever I do they re-appear when I relaunch Outlook. I tried to use the
cleanrules switch on the Command Prompt, but it seems as though this can only
be done on Outlook 2003?

I am part of a network that has different versions of Outlook and so some
people are using 2003, but I am not one of them.

Any ideas? Even my Admin can't figure this one out. Though I told him it was
not a high priority, but now it is becoming even more and more frustrating
and getting in the way of my work.
Thanks

Did you click Help and enter "command line" in the search box?

I'm pretty sure I did, I will check when I am at work tomorrow. If something
comes up that helps, I will reply with it here as I have seen other posts on
various places indicating that others are having similar problems.

I have read in numerous places however that there are Command Line Switches
that are specifically not listed in the Help area, but you can find them
online at microsoft.com (but only in reference to Outlook 2003). I am
assuming that there is either a different command for the same thing, or that
it simply can't be done in 2000. That would imply that you could never delete
server side rules however, which make no sense.

I'll try a "Command Line" search in Help in the morning, I honestly don't
remember all of the various things I searched for in this process. :-)

Thanks

There's an article for OL 2000 as well:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/197180/en-us

Thanks Brian, I did look in the Outlook Help and I have read that article as
well. Again, I am stuck with the fact that in both places there is no mention
of a Switch that cleans out rules. But both indicate that this is not a
complete list of possible Command Line Switches. So I am still stuck with
these un-deletable rules, and no confirmation that there is or is not a
Switch capable of doing this in Outlook 2000.
Thanks for your suggestions though.
Jennifer

PS. Having never been on this forum, should I rate your suggestions? I don't
know what the protocol is when the suggestions made sense, but didn't seem to
get me the answer. I don't want to be inapropriate in how I utilize the forum.

It could be that OL 2000 doesn't support that switch. If you run the
command line properly according to the Help and the KB article, with all
appropriate quotes and spaces and you still get a message that the switch
isn't recognized, then it's probably true that it's not available.
