I can upload a Ppt 2k slideshow using the Save as Webpage command
individually through my ISP but the Internet does not seem to recognise them
as a webpage. When saving a Powerpoint slideshow as Save as Webpage there is
no index/htm file. Is this the problem or something else? I use the same
upload process using Publisher with no problems. I am baffled.
Any suggestions would be terrific.

When you save your presentation as a web page you should receive wherever you
saved it a file called "your-presentation-name.htm", and a folder called
"your-presentation-name_files". all of these must be uploaded to your web space.
Access to the program is then done by addressing your presentation. Something
like this www.yourwebspace.com/your-presentation.htm
