how do i upgrade from win 2000 to win me?

i have tried updating from windows professional 2000 to
windows me {using full installation version disc} and i
lost all my previous settings and device drivers e.t.c. i
have now uninstalled windows me and am running well with
windows 2000 but due to game playing limitations i
DESPERATELY want to upgrade to windows me, CAN ANYONE
PLEASE HELP?

I believe that Windows ME to Windows 2000 is a DOWNgrade, not an upgrade.
You can install ME (on the primary partition) and then install 2000 on a
second partition and then dual-boot either, ME or 2000.
