If you use OE6, simply right-click the news-server in the Folders list and
select "Remove Account".

BTW, you posted to the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for Microsoft
Access, a database development software.

Sorry Sandy,

You posted your real email address. The spammers have you in their system
and you'll be getting junk email for as long as you have this email address.
It could be worse. I'd have to give up my domain to be free of it. From now
on, always munge up your email address. You can disconnect (delete) from
this news account, but the spam will never stop. To disconnect from the
server: Tools ... Accounts ... News tab ... Remove

BTW, you've posted in the wrong newsgroup, although there isn't a right one
for your problem.

Hello, can anyone help me? I have been trying to find out how to
disconnect from Microsoft news server completely. I do not want to receive
any more of this and I have gotten some advice and still am receiving
communications. Can anyone let me know how I can unsubscribe from this news
server ASAP. ? ? ? ? ? Thanks S

I do not recall ever applying for or setting up this "Microsoft News
Server".
It must have come with my computer and I don't want it anymore. Help.
I received a communication about this once lately and I tried what they
recommended but I am still receiving communications daily.
