how do I undo "copy inbox"

my daughter was playing on my computer and somehow she duplicated every
message in my inbox. So there are two of every message in my inbox. How do I
undo that?

mmm. Good question. You could try using the Date created or last modified
field to group them.

Hi Judy
thanks for your reply. I tried it and unfortunately 'created' and 'modified'
didn't help -it just grouped them into today's date. I couldn't find a "last
modified" option. As I'm not a good filer, there's over a thousand messages
in my inbox and I'm trying to avoid going through every second one and
deleting it. Is there anything else you can suggest?

surely the original emails were not in the today group? Only the copies
should show there.
