I am typing a spreadsheet and need the "itis" as one word. Excel keeps
putting a space in the work "it is". Is there any way to let the program
know that I do not want a space?

Thanks

You need to remove "itis" from Excel's autocorrect list....

From the Excel main menu:
<tools><options><spelling tab>
Click the [AutoCorrect options] button
Select "itis" from the list and click the [Delete] button

Does that help?

This is a function of "Autocorrect" Goto>tools>Autocorrect. Scroll dow to
"itis" and hilite it click "delete". Now it will work the way you want.
