How do I transfer my Outlook contacts into the Outlook Address Book?

How do I transfer my outlook contacts into my Outlook address book?
Tried on-line help;just confused me. Should be simple. Help!! confused

You don't. The Outlook Address Book is a view of your Contacts folder that
displays contacts with electronic addresses.
