How do I transfer a printed text into a scanned box?

Does anyone know how to transfer a typed script onto a form that I have
scanned onto my disc?
 
I use a program called "Omnipage" which converts scanned documents into
Excel, Word, Pdf, etc. There are usually some format problems, but most of
the data appears as it did on the scanned document. The page will appear,
then get "Recognized", then the program shows you all of the areas that it
doesn't recognize. You can correct the problems then, or make changes after
the excel sheet, or word document is created. You can then add, edit ,
delete information onto the document
