I'am trying to transfer my resume file that is in my documents file/MS Word
2003 to my email, so that I can send it to prospective employers. I don't
want to have to re-type it to send it...

Open up your word doc. Goto File, then Send to. Choose either send doc
as is or as attachment. Hope this helps

You're asking in the wrong place: this newsgroup is not about email,
it's about Microsoft Access, a database program.

That said... you don't "transfer a document to internet" to do this;
you Attach it to your email. The exact way you do this depends on what
EMail software you are using, but look for a button that says "Attach"
or has a paperclip icon on it.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.

just right click on it and choose Send To/mail recipient and your email
address
will open with this file as an attachment. Type in the TO address and press
send
