How do I track changes made to pages with date and time per page?

I would like to keep track of change made to a document with the date and
time each change is made.

Yes, I have tried to use Track Changes but it does notappear to do what I'm
trying to do. To clarify what I'd l;ike to do is to have each page to have
Revision # and date of revision printed on the page. Ex. Rev 1 9/1/2006
Rev 2 9/2/2006.
Any ideas?

No. This is really not practical in Word.
