Hi. I have XP Pro on my computer, OEM installation. The
PC was purchased near the end of 2002, and I have read that
if you bought your copy of XP sometime after September of
2002, SP1 was already included. I'm trying to find out how
I can tell if that's the case on my machine. Does anyone
know if there is some way I can tell what exact version,
including applied service packs, is installed? Thanks, dkr

Hi,

Right click on My Computer and choose properties. A pop
up window will appear and the version of the OS will be
written. it will also show whether SP is installed and
the version number of SP.

You can click on the start menu and right click on the
menu My Computer.

Hit the start-button, go to control panel, go to performance & maintenance,
go to system, it is right there.
