How do I sync items from my default calendar to a second calendar?

I need to share a calendar with my boss. I am a training coordinator and she
wants to see the schedule for one type of training, not everything.

How can I sync some items from my default calendar to this secondary
calendar? I don't want to have to enter appointments twice and then remember
to manually update the second calendar if there are changes.
