How do I sum a daily hour total by week?

I have created a database that tracks the number of hours an employee is in
specific job codes in short time (1:30 = one hour and 30 minutes in the job
code). I have figured out how to calculate the daily total of all the job
codes (1:30 in selection and 2:00 in loading = 3:30 total) but I also need a
weekly and period total for each employee. When I try to sum the daily
totals, the number is incorrect because the total goes over 24 hours. I have
tried changing the format from short time to general number and the total
accumulates but I do not know how to convert the decimal to an hour and
minute format. I am essentially looking for a total of the five days for a
weekly total in HH:MM format (39:30 or 39 hours and 30 minutes). Any help
will be appreciated!

Review the threads for last week. Someone had a very similar question, and
received a very good anaswer. I don't know it off the top of my head, but it
was maybe Friday of last week. Start there and go backwards. Good Luck.

I searched back to 1/27 and didn't see anything. If you come across it
again, please reply. I will continue to search.

Guess what! I found it. However, I don't know how to send you a link, so
I'll just tell you how to get there. What you'll want to do is in the
"Search For:" Box type in the word Hour. In the "In:" Box select Access
General Questions. Scroll down until you see "Format an Access Calculation
to display in full 24 hour mode" by Phil. Read that thread. Also you can
read other threads by people with similar problems. Remember you can choose
more than one Forum, the Access Forum is broken down into several sub
categories. Good Luck...
