How do I stop words moving within text box

I have a sentence with a small word on the end. I want the word on the next
line, but when I hit enter to move it down, the next line moves and has a
larger space between it and the line above than the other sentences on the
slide. If I delete the word and type it in the spot I want it on the next
line, it automatically moves back up to the next line. How can I get that
word to stay in place? Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much! It works like a charm. I played with it for too long,
and I knew there had to be a way to do it. I appreciate your taking the time
to answer.
