How do i stop swen virus from running while outlook is open?

i have outlook configured for inet email... swen only comes up when outlook
is open, ive tried mcafee and symmantec tools to remove it, but its not on
my system when outlook is closed... i see 2 SOF*.tmp files in my local
settings\temp directory which im assuming is swen... and it gets detected
only when i scan while outlook is open... if i dont do an actual scan, they
just sit there and run... when i try to delete these files, i get access
denied,.. close outlook, files disappear... i have all the updates available
installed on both office and mcafee.... i disabled all addins in options..
ive tried everything... my outlook express which is set up for my hotmail
account works fine, no swen... has anyone had this problem and resolved
it??? please help!

still there ... although i did uncover alot of bad stuff with adaware...
tks for the tip .... i even tried the scan while outlook is open and it
didnt pick up the sof*.tmp files... this thing is driving me crazy... when i
open outlook, if i delete these files as soon as they appear, you get the
impression they are deleted, but when i go to the temp directory and attrib
*.* in command line... there they are... not technically hidden, but not
seen from explorer or if you do a standard 'dir' command... try to delete
from here, access denied.... i also noticed that when my recycle bin was
enabled, the files will move into there when you delete them, but they're
name gets changed and and they are so called 'hidden' in there as well, the
only way to get rid of them in the recycle bin is to reboot... so i switched
to perma-delete and now they are just staying in temp.... *flutters lips
with fingers*
