How do I stop receiving message recall failure messages?

Using Outlook 2002, I tried to recall an e-mail I sent with an out of date
attachment (I went into Sent Items, opened the e-mail I sent with the out of
date attachment, and clicked Recall this Message - selecting "delete all
unread copies of this message").

I am now persistently getting "message recall failure" messages sent to my
Inbox.

Any suggestions how I can stop these? Thanks
