How do I stop Outlook 2007 from compressing JPGs in HTML emails?

When inserting JPG images into the body of an HTML newsletter (in an
email-based newsletter) all is fine until I click Send, and the Outlook 2007
compresses both the quality and size of the embedded images. I don't want
gthis, as I prefer to do it myself, and just want Outlook to send the images
as is.

I have scoured the configuration settings and cannot find anything to turn
this off.

I'm not sure on this but there's a basic auto option for pictures. Insert a
picture and then click on the Compress Pictures button and then Options. See
if unchecking "automatically perform a basic compression on Save" helps.

Hi Bill

Thanks for the response, however it did not work. Outlook 2007 continues to
compress my inline images. This is very frustrating - Outlook 2003 did not
do this.

Regards,
Scott
