How do I stop Outlook 2003 closing down when I minimize it

I have several users that have this problem now - Outlook 2003.
When they click the minimize button (top right) the application closes down
completely and they then have to launch it again.

Is this a bug, virus, feature ? or what ?

I have the same problem 2 months later. Mine was minimizing up until an
hour or so ago. Now it closes. IE still minimizes. Does anyone have an
answer?

Mark,

Right click on the Outlook Icon in the system tray and uncheck Hide When
Minimized.
