How do I stop "not read" notifications sent when I delete spam?

When SP-3 becomes available, it should fix the problem of read-receipts
being sent when you empty unread mail from your Deleted Items folder. Until
you can get SP-3, though, you can go to Deleted Items, select all messages
(Ctrl-A), and mark them as read (Ctrl-Q). This will prevent the
read-receipts from being sent.
