how do I stop my incoming email from going to the deleted items

How do I stop my incoming emails from one sender from going directly to the
deleted items folder on outlook? This only happens from one sender only

See if you don't have a rule for that sender configured.

I'm not sure I understood that. Does this mean I may have indicated to send
it to that folder when I set up the contact?
