How do I stop getting "locate link browser" window

Whenever I open an email with a link to another site in an email in Outlook
it brings up a "locate link browser" window with a list of files and looks
for an exe file. This only happens if I don't have a browser window open. I
am using Mozilla Firefox as my default browser. It's not causing any
problems but it's annoying. I'm using Oulook 2003 on Windows XP. Thanks
