How do I stop fragmenting outgoing messages in Outlook?

I'm having real problems sending messages with attachments. I have Outlook
2000 on XP with Norton antivirus 2004. People keep receiving multiple
messages from me when I send attachments - they can't open them.

Please help.
 
On your account settings you can set that Outlook should split messages when
the size exceeds a certain amount of KB. Disable this option.
