How do I stop a printer

My Epson colour stylus 600 is printing gibberish and I
tried cancelling the print job. The job status is deleting
but the printer keeps spewing out a page at a time with a
few smiley characters per page. If I re-boot it just
carries on where it left off.
How do I kill this @%$%$#% thing?
 
go to start the printer and fax then click on the printer
and then right click on the job that is printing and then
cancel it.
