How do I start outlook for my personal computer

I previously accessed Outlook from an exhange server. I am now self employed
and would like to continue to use Outlook but everytime I try to connect, it
goes to the exchange server. I'm not sure how to reconfigure it so I can use
it on my computer. I have Outlook 2000.

Tools> E-mail accounts. Delete the exchange server accounts. Add a new
account using the parameters that your ISP gave you. If you happen to have
Outlook Express to the same account, I would delete the account in OE.

On the odd chance you might have an Offline Store Folder (.OST) file
associated with your old Exchange Server account, you should leave this
Outlook profile alone and create a new profile without the Exchange Server
service:

If you change or delete the old Exchange Server profile AND you have an .OST
file associated with it, your will lose access to the .OST file.
