How do I start Outlook 2002 minimized?

I would really like to start Outlook 2002 with my computer and have it
minimized by default. The problem is that I can't find an option for that
within the program itself, and even going to the shortcut for it and changing
the Run property to Minimized didn't do anything.

Create a shortcut. Right click the shortcut and select properties. In the
shortcut tab select minimized from the 'Run' drop down menu.

That will result in Outlook being loaded but the nuisance of a button
showing for it in the Windows taskbar. If you want Outlook 2002 to
minimize to a tray icon, there is a registry hack to do that. I found
it easier to get the Attachment Options add-on which has options for
minimizing Outlook to a tray icon (and another to always force reading
messages in plain-text format). I recall finding the plug-in from a
link at www.slipstick.com.
