How do you get the system admin sign-in on the sign-in screen?

I have a problem with one of my program's (it refuses me "supervisor"
access) and I'd like to try it with full admin rights (even though I have
admin status on my own sign-in).

Cheers.

Hi Bobby

Try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the Welcome screen.

Will

Or login as "administrator" with your password...
Have fun!!!

Greetings --

Once any additional user accounts have been created, the
Administrator account will no longer be displayed on the Welcome
Screen. This is a default security feature that may, or may not, be
needed in your specific situation. By design, the only way to log
into the Administrator account of WinXP Home is to reboot into Safe
Mode. For WinXP Pro, pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the Welcome
Screen will produce the standard login dialog box.

Maybe someone could help me with a question about
System Admin.
When I first got my computer I never gave myself a password. I think I read
you didn't have to.
So, if I ever had a problem and had to
fix things thru my CD and it asks for a password as I ahve
been reading here what should one do?
I am of course the admin, and no one else uses my
computer, I still am concerned it will be a problem,
later cause I ahve not given myself a password, and I don't want to.

Even though I am the admin I was using Cleansweep
to remove a internet sip that i was trying it
removed my mailbox and when I try to reinstall it said I didn't have ascess
and so wouldn't let me.
Why, when I was the admin did this happen.

I did contact support at Cleansweep, however,
they had no clue, so I figgered it had to be taken
control of XP. Which seems complicated.

Anyways, i thought maybe someone here could help.

Thanks,

Vicki

I was not very clear about what happen with Clean Sweep. I tried another
ISP. I used Clean Sweep
when I installed it. I then used it to remove it.
What happen was it removed all my folders in my mailbox and I was left with
nothing in my folders
all the ones I created were gone with all the hours spent
collecting quotes and some poems I had written and
not printed out yet.
I then tried to reinstall it and that is when it wouldn't
let me because it said I was not allowed as I did not
have access.
I had no idea as to how to get them back and neither
did support at Cleansweep.
That is when I assumed it had to have something to do with system admin.

It to late for help, cause I got mad and removed
the program. However, I would have liked to
know why and how I could have solved the problem.
As, I have reinstall Cleansweep yet, am afraid to use it.

Boot to Safe mode (hit F8 as BIOS info goes to black for the menu to
select it) and Administrator will be on the Welcome screen
